The San Francisco Stop-Motion Animation Conservatory & Kollective engages people in the creative experience. More specifically, the very unique creative experience of creating real physical animations from scratch. We are the region’s preeminent proponent of this art-form and Stop-Motion Animation education, expression, and appreciation. Our membership is comprised of all ages, abilities, and economic and cultural backgrounds. Centrally located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, SF S.M.A.C.K. aims to provide a headquarters for all things related to the traditional Stop-Frame Animation format.
